MILAN - Inter coach José Mourinho has been suspended for one Serie A match and fined 15,000 euros by the Lega Calcio's Disciplinary Committee.
The Portuguese was sent off by Daniele Orsato in the 58th minute of yesterday's match between Cagliari and Inter for protesting after the referee failed to book Davide Astori for a foul on Mario Balotelli near the Cagliari area (just several minutes earlier, Samuel Eto'o had been yellow-carded for a foul in midfield).
Mourinho has been sent off three times in Italy - twice in matches refereed by Orsato. The Inter coach has been given a one-match suspension on one previous occasion.
